911MEDIA Wins 2014 Summit International Leader Award for Sheriff’s Youth Foundation Website Redesign

Burbank, California, February 4, 2015 — 911MEDIA has been honored with a 2014 Summit International Emerging Media Leader Award for its redesign of the Sheriff’s Youth Foundation’s website,

Since 1985, the Sheriff’s Youth Foundation of Los Angeles County (SYF) has been dedicated to providing youth with safe facilities, planned programs and the vital tools they need to thrive and succeed in life.

The new SYF website, launched in June 2014, includes expanded, timely content; a colorful, reorganized interface designed to engage potential program participants and their families, donors and volunteers; mobile-friendly features; and social media links.

“We are elated to be recognized with the Leader Award for our work on the SYF website,” says 911MEDIA President Mark Deitch. “To be chosen as one of the top websites out of the more than 1,200 entries, especially for a cause we feel so strongly about, is both gratifying and indicative of our staff’s expertise.”

“911MEDIA delivered exactly what we wanted and needed in our new website,” says Lieutenant A.J. Rotella, the SYF Executive Director who initiated this project. “With seven programs helping thousands of youth in L.A. County discover a better path for the future, it is extremely important to us that the website serves a holistic purpose — informing families of the full range of services available to them, while also showcasing the incredible dedication of our team of deputies, staff and volunteers, and promoting the program’s long-term viability through donations and volunteer recruitment. Thanks to the efforts of Mark and his team, we now have a website that supports all these objectives and provides us with a way to share the accomplishments of the amazing youth we work with on a daily basis. 911MEDIA got it just right.”

For 21 years, Summit International Awards has been dedicated to furthering excellence in the marketing communications industry through distinguished advertising and marketing award competitions.
