911MEDIA Locks in Azbee Awards for CCSO Keynotes Magazine
Burbank, California, June 16, 2020 — 911MEDIA has been recognized with two 2020 Azbee Awards of Excellence from the American Society of Business Publication Editors for its relaunch of Keynotes, the official publication of the California Correctional Supervisors Organization (CCSO).
Selected from more than 1,000 entries, the fall 2019 issue marking the return of Keynotes was honored with the Regional Gold and National Silver awards for New Publication Design. 911MEDIA completely relaunched the magazine with an attractive, reader-friendly redesign, organizing content into stylized sections that utilize creative typography, photography, layout and more to convey information clearly to readers. The magazine’s sleek new look and feel is significant for CCSO because it not only represents a tangible benefit of association membership, but also allows the organization to increase engagement with its more than 5,000 members throughout the state, providing a platform to communicate about issues affecting correctional supervisors in California and the corrections profession as a whole.
The Azbees are one of the most competitive award programs for trade, association and professional publications, highlighting editorial, online and design excellence in magazines, newsletters and digital media.
“I’m so proud to receive this recognition of the hard work of our talented team on behalf of CCSO,” 911MEDIA President and Publisher Mark Deitch says. “While our true mission is to serve the needs of our clients, it’s also an immense honor to see our projects recognized as among the best in our industry. I can’t think of a better way to have kicked off our partnership with CCSO, and I know we’ll continue to accomplish great things together in the future.”
