911MEDIA Honored With Nine 2020 Communicator Awards

Burbank, California, May 13, 2020 — From a field of more than 6,000 entries from throughout the U.S. and around the world, 911MEDIA’s projects have been selected for two 2020 Communicator Awards of Excellence and seven Awards of Distinction from the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA), the largest and most competitive awards program honoring creative excellence for communications professionals.  

911MEDIA was recognized for achievements on behalf of four of its clients, garnering accolades for online platforms as well as print publications. Its website design and development for Napier Coury Baillie, P.C., earned an Award of Excellence in the “Websites — Law and Legal Services” category. 911MEDIA also received Awards of Distinction in the “Websites — Associations” category for its design and development for the California Correctional Supervisors Association and the Port Authority Police Benevolent Association. In addition, the October 2019 issue of PORAC Law Enforcement News, the official monthly publication of the Peace Officers Research Association of California, published by 911MEDIA, received Awards of Distinction in the categories “Magazine — Association” and “Design Features — Overall Design.”

The company was also honored for its proprietary creation, Toluca Lake Magazine. The luxury neighborhood lifestyle publication earned an Award of Excellence for its January/February 2019 issue in the category of “Design Features — Photography,” an Award of Distinction for the same issue in “Design Features — Overall Design,” and another Award of Distinction for the July/August 2019 issue in “Magazine — Consumer.” Furthermore, the magazine’s companion website, TolucaLake.com, received an Award of Distinction for “Websites — Magazine.”
